Comfigure Outlook For Planet Logic Mail Server

Please carefully follow the instructions below:

  1. Open Outlook, click Tools, and choose E-mail Accounts.
  1. Choose Add a new e-mail account and click Next. Or if you are modifying a current account select View or change existing e-mail account then click Next
  1. The following screen will only appear for new accounts. If you are modifying a current account skip to step 4.
    Choose POP3 or IMAP and click Next. Either will work.
  1. For Your Name enter your first and last name.
    For E-mail Address enter your email address.
    For Incoming mail server (POP3) enter apollo.planetlogic.net
    For Outgoing mail server (SMTP) enter apollo.planetlogic.net
    For User Name enter your full email address.
    For Password enter your password.
    Check Remember Password.

  1. Next Click the More Settings button.
  2. Click on the tab for Outgoing Server
  3. Check the option for My outgoing mail server requires authentication
  4. Select the option to Use the same settings as incoming mail server.





  5. Next Click on the Tab for Advanced.
  6. Changed the Port Number from 110 to 995
  7. Check this server requires an ecrypted connection (SSL)
  8. Change the port number for Outgoing Mail Server SMTP from 25 to 465
  9. Check this server requires an ecrypted connection (SSL)
  10. Click OK at the bottom




  11. If you would like, you can optionally click Test Account Settings to make sure all the information is entered correctly. Click Close when the test is complete.
  12. Click Next, then click Finish.
  13. Your new mail account ready for use.
